Expert Professional Care

Under the supervision of the Hospice Medical Director and other Licensed Physicians, Hospice Skilled Nurses are primarily responsible for managing patients’ pain and symptoms to maximize their quality of life. Additional care ranges from physical therapy, to activities of mindful daily living, to complementary therapies such as music immersion, massage, and aromatherapy.  Hospice Aides provide Skilled Nurses additional support in order to ensure patients and their families have all their needs met.

By ensuring logistics of coordinating resources for patients and their families during challenging times, Hospice Medical Social Workers are able to facilitate difficult conversations that give patients and their families peace of mind to focus on meaningfully spending invaluable time with each other.

Specially trained in supporting people during end of life care, Hospice Chaplains are available for spiritual support to patients and their families. By meeting patients and their families where they are in their spiritual lives, the Hospice Chaplains exercises culturally sensitive approach  to those across the faith spectrum, helping them find meaning in their moments of difficulties.

Our Hospice Bereavement Counselors accompany patients and their families throughout moments of grief. When dealing with feelings like loneliness, anger, guilt, confusion, and fear, sometimes all at once, patients and their families may experience isolation without proper support. As expert facilitators, Hospice Bereavement Counselors help patients and their families heal by ensuring they are not alone when confronting grief.

Our trained cadre of Hospice Volunteers offer periods of compassionate companionship to patients and their families, often providing short periods of rest to caregivers who might need to run errands or attend to other responsibilities.  With a helpful and proactive attitude, Hospice Volunteers bring a steady supply of tender, love, and care.
