Our Hospice Volunteers make a difference for people at the end of their journey in life.
All volunteers receive training to meet the needs and improve the quality of life of patients and their families, forming a key link in the community support that is available to those facing terminal illness or grieving the death of loved ones. Hospice Volunteers help patients and their families in a range of ways, from running errands, listening or reading to them, playing music, to accompanying those in need of support during their grief. Other volunteers can help staff in the office, helping to answer phone calls and coordinating support activities. By serving as a volunteer, you may have one of the most fulfilling experiences of your life!
